Welcome to the officially oldest nudist beach in Croatia!
The pleasant Mediterranean climate combined with clear Adriatic Sea and pine trees provide a healing environment for our guests and an unforgettable holiday for those who appreciate life in harmony with nature. We are located in the center of the pristine nature of the island of Rab, on the peninsula Frkanj, with views of the neighboring islands and islets on one side and the great Velebit mountain on the other side, surrounded by pine trees. Nudism on the Kandarola beach began in 1936 when the English king Edward VIII had a first nude swim in the bay, together with his beloved Lady Simpson, with permission from the city of Rab and its residents, during their visit to the Adriatic coast. Many latter visitors continued this tradition, which led to Kandarola beach becoming a small Adriatic paradise for nudists. Being protected by the forest and a great service of our staff, we provide you an unforgettable and uninterrupted stay in nature, for your comfort.
